Elizabeth Solomon defines her work as documentation that “pays homage to intimism – the tradition in art that gives significance to the familiar, unnoticed and unguarded moments of everyday life.”
Solomon has been part of the “One Cottage Street” artist community since 1985. She shows nationally and for many years was represented by the David Findlay Jr Gallery in New York City and the DNFA Gallery in Pasedena, CA. She studied at the Art Students’ League in NYC, Cornell University and received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She received a Visual Art Fellowship from the New England Foundation for the Arts and multiple individual artist grants from the Northampton and Easthampton arts councils.
