I shoot “straight”, what I see in the viewfinder is printed, there is no cropping, double exposure or manipulation, (no Photoshop), used in my images. Reflections fascinate me; they bring out the finest elements of contemporary photography and have been a favorite subject for years. Multiple layers of information and movement integrated on a single surface create images that transcend beyond the literal. As the eye moves from behind, in front of and through this multidimensional vision a puzzle of sorts is created for the viewer to figure out. Reflections are ruminations for life. Nothing we experience is simply surface deep, there are caveats and dimensions to most everything, some visible, some not, and some just below the surface of our consciousness.
