The great shipwreck art theme draws the viewer dramatically into chaos. And what chaos it is! The gallery is full of tumult with crashing waves, whirlpools, small boats and people in peril. The installation Diamond says, “It is an allegory for our times that at once mirrors my inward and our outward state.”
Harriet has shown her works throughout New England, notably at the Fitchburg Museum, Chesterwood and The Albany Museum. Recently she was awarded a residency at the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris.
