Over the years, while coming and going from her third floor studio in the converted factory building known as “Arts and Industry” in Florence MA, Fran has been delighted by the contrast between the profusion of plants there and their drab, industrial setting. Her new paintings pay tribute to these plants, and to Chris, the maintenance engineer, who keeps them going.
