“My prints and paintings are personal and are placed where I have a close relationships such as The Berkshires and Ireland”.
Owen Dowling emigrated with her family to the United States from Ireland as a child. She grew up in Malibu California. Her primary inspirations in art are Mary Cassatt, Richard Diebenkorn, Turner, and Winslow Homer.
Besides her etchings, Olwen also paints images in oil and watercolor of the West of Ireland as well as North Chester where she lives in the Berkshire mountains.
