Stella Schmale is an 18 year old, independent artist based in Northampton. Graduating from Northampton High a semester early, she plans to advance her educational experience this fall at The American University of Rome, Italy, majoring in Fine Arts. While mediums, textures, and forms are all fluid throughout Stella’s work, she settles herself in the realm of interdisciplinary arts. Every piece made displays a personal investigation of meditative practices/lifestyles, and captures themes of nostalgic innocence and play. Her systemic approach to these representations of connection, has won multiple awards, and is continuously evolving.
