The UMass Amherst Arts Extension Service (AES), a national arts service organization located within the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, is hosting a free information session, How to Get an Intern: An Info Session for Artists, Arts-Based Businesses, and Non-Profits. As part of the AES’s Arts Entrepreneurship Initiative, the information session will provide guidance to artists, creative business owners, and arts managers on how to become an internship provider for Five College students, labor law compliance, and best practices for making the most of your own, as well as your intern’s time. The free session includes refreshments and time to answer participant questions.
