Danielle Tait
Contemporary Portraits
Danielle Tait is an Easthampton-based photographer specializing in unique, story-driven images that capture people doing what they love most. Whether you are an artist or professional. Danielle’s goal is to help you convey your art, music, talent, passion, and/or profession in a series of candid yet expertly executed portraits. Danielle’s narrative approach tells the story of what you do, and her editorial images offer a glimpse into your world and who you are.
Danielle Tait was drawn to photography from a young age. She used to pour over old photographs of her parents and grandparents, completely taken by the images and the stories they told. Now as a professional photographer, Danielle loves helping people tell their unique story through her images. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA, Danielle began working as an Atelierista at a school using the Reggio Emilia Approach. Part of her job was to document the lives of the children. She found a way to go unnoticed so she could get the true expressions of the children as they explored the world around them. Throughout her years of photographing people Danielle has found a way to capture who people really are, while giving some direction on posing in order to capture people at their best angle in the best light. She says, “What I love about portrait photography is being able to tell people’s stories through my photographs. I’m truly blessed and honored that people invite me into their lives to capture what and who is most important to them.” Danielle lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband and two children. She launched her own photography business in 2010. She has a beautiful light filled studio in the Eastworks Building in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Danielle also travels to photograph her clients in their best element.
