Good Times at the Mills is a public sculpture by Peter O. Zierlien and serves as a “gateway” to Easthampton’s Mills District. The sculpture honors and celebrates the history of the mills, their current day uses, as well as the natural environment they were built in. Good Times at the Mills is part of a “pocket park” — which consists of a public sculpture, public seating, wayfinding signage, and a bike rack.
This “pocket park” was generously funded by the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and was made possible by additional support from Easthampton’s Department of Public Works, Parks & Recreation, the Manhan Rail Trail Committee, and the City Planning Department.
This project was guided by ECA’s Public Art Committee and was completed in 2022.
