Viewer Is drawn in both by the familiar New England imagery as well as by the complex and resolved compositional structure of the paintings.  Evans’ paintings bring us in to a world of towns hardened by an Industrial past and softened by Nature’s resolute beauty.

Karen Evans holds a BFA from the University of the Arts and has shown her work through New England including Hampden Gallery Umass, The Discover Center Turners Falls, Hosmer Gallery Northampton, the Allen Gallery in Worcester and many other local venues.
