Small Works Show & Sale

Call to Artists – Easthampton City Arts+ hosts its 4th Annual Small Works Show and Sale. An exhibit that aims to benefit patrons and artists, the ECA+ Small Works Show is offering a cash and carry format for what is looking to be an exciting salon style show!

The exhibit will run from December 6, 2012 – January 5, 2013. Purchased works will be given upon purchase to the buyer and artists will be paid following the exhibition. ECA+ requests a 25% commission to the gallery from the artist for all purchases. Artists may submit multiple pieces for the show and are encouraged to keep their prices below $100, however this is not an obligation.

ECA+ ARTIST MEMBERS

• ECA+ artist members DO NOT need to submit images.
  

NON-ECA+ ARTIST MEMBERS
$10 non-refundable fee for a maximum of three entries. Submit images to info@easthamptoncityarts.com. Images must be 1000 pixels wide (minimum file size). Submit images titled as Artist’s last name_First initial_number of image.jpg (example: Smith_J_1.jpg).

ELIGIBILITY

Open to all artists

SIZE REQUIREMENTS

No larger than 10” x 10” 2-D work must be ready to hang Frame and matte cannot exceed 3” (Making final piece no larger than 16 x 16) 3-D work must be self-standing or ready to hang

MEDIUM/INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

There is no medium requirement, however all works must be ready to install/hang.

ACCEPTED WORKS

• Deliver work on November 30, from 12 – 6 p.m. at 43 Main Street, Easthampton, MA 01027
• Additional work will replace purchased pieces.
• Pick-up non-purchased work on January 8, 2012 from 12– 6 p.m.

Insurance

Please note that the ECA+ Gallery does not have insurance and exhibitors show their materials at their own risk.

SHIPPED WORK

Work must be shipped in sturdy reusable containers and arrive at ECA+ no later than November 30, 2012. DO NOT use loose Styrofoam “peanut” packing. Works should not require special handling or instructions. Ship the accepted work(s) prepaid to ECA+, 43 Main Street, Suite 2, Easthampton, MA 01027. Include a return street address label and return shipping.

AGREEMENT

Submitting an entry constitutes agreement on the part of the entrant to all conditions set forth in this prospectus. Submissions not abiding by these conditions, will not be accepted. Download Prospectus.

ABOUT THE GALLERY

The Easthampton City Arts+ Gallery is located in the Historic Town Hall at 43 Main Street in Easthampton, MA, home to other arts businesses and organizations. The ECA+ Gallery exhibits a wide-array of artists representing a diverse range of mediums and stylistic considerations. All are encouraged to apply.
