ARTHAMPTON 2012 - ARTIST REGISTRATION
ECA+ announces the Third Annual ArtHampton. We invite all Greater Easthampton artists, performers, and artisans to participate in this day by having an exhibition, a performance, or a demonstration. ECA+ will produce a map, listing all participants and their locations. We will promote the event, provide maps, and provide postcards for participants to distribute.
There is so much talent to be showcased and enjoyed here in Greater Easthampton. We are making improvements & additions to ArtHampton and hope that you are as excited about this year’s developments as we are:
- We will be offering participants the opportunity to exhibit a small piece in an exhibition hall at Eastworks. The ArtHampton exhibition hall will act as the central location for visitors to register for ArtHampton. Visitors will be able to visually indentify your work through cards, maps, and your piece exhibited on the wall (see entry specifications below).
- Also, for the first time ever, we will be offering creative workshops in the morning, hosted by area artists and teachers. More information about the morning workshop offerings will be posted soon at easthamptoncityarts.com.

Date: Saturday, October 6, 2012
Time: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Participants will exhibit, perform, or demonstrate in Easthampton between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Participants will be provided with a space in the exhibition hall at Eastworks to display 1 representative piece of artwork (individual artwork must be ready to hang and no greater than 24 inches including frame if applicable. Tables will be available for 3-d work and contact/business information.
Deadline for participation and to be included on the map: August 28th, 2012
ECA+ Member Participation Fee
(this small participation fee will help to cover printing costs of the map and postcards)
$25 – text listing
$55 – text listing with photo
$100 – large, prominent/highlighted listing w/photo & web address
Non-members please add $20 to each of the above fees
Please note: A $10 late fee will be added to all Participant Registrations after August 28th.
ARTHAMPTON SCHEDULE
October 5, 6 – 7 p.m.
Eastworks Drop off work at the Eastworks Exhibition Hall, pick up maps and surveys.
October 6, 8:30 a.m.
Walk-in registration for Session Participants at Eastworks (space is limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis). Eastworks Exhibition Hall opens to the Public and Session Participants
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Session I (two concurrent sessions at Eastworks)
10:15 – 11:15 a.m. Session II (two concurrent sessions at Eastworks)
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Session III (two concurrent sessions at Eastworks)
12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Demonstrations, performances, and exhibitions throughout Easthampton studios and spaces.
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Exhibition Hall Reception (return surveys)
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Participants pick up work from Exhibition Hall
ECA+ requires participants to invite at least two visitors to participate in a survey. Surveys will be printed and handed out to participants along with a clipboard and pen. A participant survey will be conducted as well a couple of days after the event, via email. This information is essential for future grant consideration from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
