CALL TO ARTISTS


Easthampton City Arts+ is seeking artists to apply for exhibitions in three galleries located in Easthampton—the ECA+ Gallery, the Chamber Gallery, and the new Easthampton City Hall Gallery.
The Easthampton City Arts+ Gallery is located in the Historic Town Hall at 43 Main Street in Easthampton, MA, home to other arts businesses and organizations. The ECA+ Gallery exhibits the works of ECA+ members, local and regional artists and beyond. Exhibitions rotate monthly and participate in Art Walk Easthampton, a monthly citywide event that several hundred people attend. A wide-array of artists exhibit their work in the ECA+ gallery representing a diverse range of medias and stylistic considerations. All are encouraged to apply. This application is for the 2013-14 season. Application is due August 31. Applicants will be notified of status in September 2012.
Located at 33 Union Street in the foyer, of the Greater Easthampton Chamber of Commerce. This gallery hosted by ECA+ is a widely visited space for visitors and business owners. Exhibitions are displayed for two months. This space is a perfect location for artists to exhibit 6-10 small 2-d works. Both up-and-coming and established artists are encouraged to apply. Application has been extended and is due August 31. Applicants will be notified of status on an ongoing basis.
Easthampton’s City Hall is traversed by hundreds of people every month at 50 Payson Avenue. 2-D or wall relief artists are invited to display their work in this new hallway gallery for three month-long exhibitions. Exhibiting artists must use the track system provided. Easthampton artists are encouraged to apply. Application has been extended and is due August 31. Applicants will be notified of status on an ongoing basis.

If applicants are unable to complete the online form, please mail three images, description, c/v, and month preferences to Easthampton City Arts+, c/o Burns Maxey, 43 Main Street, Easthampton, MA 01027. Please do not send slides. Images and descriptions will not be returned.
